Baghdadi, who led IS since 2014 and was the world’s most wanted man, was killed in a US special forces raid in Syria’s northwestern province of Idlib on Sunday.

It was later in the day handed over to Moon, who was staying in the southeastern city of Busan where his mother’s mourning station was located, Moon’s spokeswoman Ko Min-jung said. Ko said Kim expressed his “deep commemorating (of Moon’s mother) and condolence” over her death.
